Jonathon Perkins
Head of Capital Transactions
Jonathon is the Head of Capital Transactions at Sentinel Property Group, bringing extensive experience from roles at leading institutions including Charter Hall and Deutsche Bank in London.
Jonathon joined Sentinel in 2024 and has since played a key role in driving strategic acquisition and divestment activity across the national portfolio.
Over the course of his career, Jonathon has negotiated more than $1.0 billion in property transactions, covering both acquisitions and divestments. At Sentinel, he is responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic asset opportunities, managing transaction processes, and collaborating closely with Asset and Development teams to unlock value-add potential.
He also oversees the seamless transition of new assets into ongoing portfolio management, aligning each transaction with Sentinel’s broader Funds Management strategy.
With excellent academic credentials (including 1st class honours in Law and two academic prizes in Corporate Law and Commercial Law), Dirk provides both technical legal skill combined with a commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving. This practical and efficient approach to legal practice and advice was honed through several years as in house counsel for major UK companies in London, and through many years of managing diverse family-owned property holdings.
Dirk was admitted to practice law in Queensland in 2008, and in the United Kingdom in 2013. Dirk holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons 1st class).
