Scarborough House is a 14 level, 16,755 sqm, A Grade commercial office building with 47 basement car parks and was purpose built by the Commonwealth Government in 1972. In 2005, the building underwent a $32 million base building upgrade which included major refurbishment, bringing the property up to a modern standard and in 2018 all of the lifts were replaced by Kone.

Scarborough House is the executive building for the Department of Health and is currently the control centre for the nation’s COVID-19 response. The Department of Health leases almost 100% of the building, expiring in 2025 with a 5-year option.

The property is located in the heart of Canberra’s commercial and community hub, Woden Town Centre.
