Casuarina Square is the Northern Territory’s premier retail destination and a central part of Darwin’s retail, dining and community life. The centre is anchored by Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Big W, and BCC Cinemas, with 190+ stores, including five major and twelve mini-major retailers. The variety of revenue streams includes a 303-bed student accommodation facility leased to UniLodge.

The property comprises a total gross lettable area of 54,328 sqm on a site of 11.79 hectares, increasing to approximately 56,634 sqm on completion of the current development, which is due for completion shortly. Additionally, the site has substantial development potential, with the current town plan allowing an additional 56,282 sqm of building area within the designated development zones.

Casuarina Square is currently undergoing significant redevelopment. Cas Lane, a new dining and entertainment precinct, is now leasing and has already attracted Darwin-first brands, including Yo-Chi, iPlay and Kickin’ Inn. The Woolworths Mall Redevelopment will deliver a refurbished supermarket, a wider mall, new specialty retail space and expanded undercover parking, including a dedicated Direct-to-Boot collection zone.

With more than 2,400 car parks, Casuarina Square is an accessible and practical destination, yielding an average of 7.4 million visits every year. It is Darwin’s geographic and social epicentre, strategically located at the intersection of the two major traffic routes into Northern Darwin, and is positioned as Northern Darwin’s natural hub for retail, lifestyle and other supporting mixed-use activities. Casuarina Square is located centrally between the Charles Darwin University campus, the Royal Darwin Hospital and the Darwin International Airport.
