Sentinel Property Group is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Capital Transactions Analyst to join our growing Capital Transactions team. Reporting to the Head of Capital Transactions, this pivotal role supports the firm’s investment strategy through high-level financial analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio optimisation across retail, industrial, and commercial assets nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial modelling and investment analysis for new acquisitions and disposals
  • Conduct in-depth market research across industrial, commercial, and retail sectors
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and committee papers articulating risk, return, and strategic fit
  • Coordinate due diligence across legal, tax, and advisory workstreams
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel models, including IRR, sensitivity, and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate closely with Fund Management, Asset Management, and Finance to align strategies
  • Manage external relationships with valuers, brokers, and consultants
  • Contribute to portfolio analysis, valuations, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Mentor junior analysts and support continuous improvement in transaction processes

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in real estate transactions, investment analysis, or asset management within private equity, funds management, or institutional investment
  • Advanced Excel financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, IRR, equity multiple)
  • Experience with Forbury or equivalent valuation software
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Professional designations such as API (Certified Practicing Valuer) or CFA are highly regarded.
