Sentinel Property Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Asset Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial assets. This pivotal role will focus on delivering long-term asset strategies, maximising income and value, managing risk, and enhancing portfolio performance across our national footprint.

This is a unique opportunity for a property professional to join a leading unlisted property fund manager and play a hands-on role in asset repositioning, tenant retention, leasing optimisation, and investment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute 1–4-year Strategic Asset Plans (SAPs) to optimise value and leasing outcomes
  • Manage leasing strategies and coordinate with internal and external agents
  • Analyse market trends and valuation models to support capital transactions
  • Oversee capex projects to enhance tenant experience and asset performance
  • Drive property-level performance through budget management, forecasting and reporting
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to property and facilities teams
  • Manage valuation processes, investment returns and operational risk across the portfolio
  • Partner cross-functionally with Leasing, Development, Trust, Capital Transactions and Centre Management teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in Asset Management, ideally across both Retail, Office and industrial assets
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset with a focus on value-add opportunities
  • Experience in property leasing, budgeting, capex and tenant negotiations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Real Estate or a related discipline
  • Proficiency with property management systems (MRI preferred) and financial modelling tools
