Asset Analyst – Drive Strategic Performance in a Leading Property Investment Group

Join Sentinel Property Group and play a pivotal role in enhancing asset performance across a $2 billion property portfolio. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially minded Asset Analyst to support our Funds and Asset Management team with performance analytics, strategic leasing, investment feasibility, and asset forecasting.

About the Role

This is a key analytical position within our investment division, providing strategic insight and commercial support to optimise the performance of Sentinel’s commercial property portfolio. You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, leasing strategy, investment modelling, valuation support, and property development feasibility

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with asset performance forecasting, NOI analysis, and investment return tracking
  • Contribute to leasing strategies, property budgeting, and arrears/performance meetings
  • Support major tenant negotiations, lease finalisation, and strategic asset plans
  • Prepare valuation reports, feasibility models, and commercial assessments
  • Collaborate with legal, leasing, and property teams to optimise centre performance
  • Undertake due diligence and financial modelling on acquisitions, disposals, and redevelopments
  • Manage project data inputs into Dyna or equivalent systems for IRR evaluation

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in asset management, property investment, or development analysis
  • Strong grasp of commercial leasing markets, valuation methodologies, and investment principles
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and property-specific tools (e.g., Forbury, Dyna)
  • Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and analytically driven
  • Confident communicator and proactive team contributor
