Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the Accounts Administrator is responsible for providing high-quality professional and confidential support to the Finance Team. The role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions across the Corporate and Trust entities. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial administration, relevant experience and a proactive approach to managing responsibilities effectively and engaging with stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage and oversee the offshore Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure efficient and timely operations.
- Perform Accounts Receivable tasks for Corporate and Trust Entities (Retail Shopping Centre’s, Office Buildings, Large Format Retail and Industrial).
- Process invoices and execute payment runs across multiple banking platforms.
- Monitor and manage the AP & AR inboxes to ensure the timely processing of invoices and payments and prompt responses to stakeholders’ enquiries.
- Verify and process purchase orders in line with company procedures.
- Reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions.
- Maintain efficient operations by following company policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and liaise with the Senior Financial Accountant to implement changes.
About You
- Proficiency in accounting platforms such as Xero and/or NetSuite.
- Experience using MRI Property Management Software.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate or property-related environment.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and pride in work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and solve problems independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach to tasks and team collaboration.
