Interview with ABC Darwin – New owners reveal plans to clean up Cas Square

The new owners of Casuarina Square described it as “a trophy asset” and the “stand-out retail property in Australia”. 

But it’s not an asset without challenges – high rates of alcohol-fuelled antisocial behaviour, vandalism and reports of organised gang fights in the precinct. 

So what’s the plan to overhaul the centre and make shoppers feel safe? 

ABC Radio Darwin’s Adam Steer spoke to Sentinel Property Group’s Warren Ebert when he arrived in Darwin to get started.
