Northern Territory expansion

National not for profit training, employment and community services organisation STEPS Group Australia is expanding in the Northern Territory after securing space in the CasCom Centre business park in Darwin.

STEPS has leased a 416sq m office at the CasCom Centre at 13-17 Scaturchio St, Casuarina, from Sentinel Property Group, which purchased CasCom last year for $34 million.

The CasCom centre is a six-building business park with about 10,944sq m of gross lettable area.

The property is predominantly leased by territory and federal government departments.

STEPS has taken up a six-year tenancy at a gross rental of $430 per sq m per annum.

Established in 2010, Brisbane-based Sentinel has a total national portfolio of more than 40 retail, industrial, office, land, tourism infrastructure and agribusiness assets in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory with a total value in excess of $1 billion.
