New leases see Rocket take off
April 7, 2017
Tenants continue to orbit The Rocket office tower at Robina on the Gold Coast, with the landmark building recently signing on two health and fitness businesses.
Authentic Punchfit Academy has secured 202sq m, and Cryoperformance will occupy 71sq m, both committing to there-year leases. The deals add to The Rocket’s strong health, fitness and medical presence. Authentic Punchfit Academy specialises in boxing/kick-boxing classes and training, and Cryoperformance provides hyper-cooling treatments for muscle/injury recovery and repair.
The leasing rates have not been disclosed but the asking gross rents for the ground-level spaces start at $515/sq m. Knight Frank’s Tania Moore and Lizzie Wheeler struck the deals amid strong leasing activity at the office tower. In one of the largest Gold Coast office leasing deals, the National Disability Insurance Agency recently secured a four-floor (2796sq m) tenancy in the building on a 10-year term with options. The Rocket is jointly owned by Clarence Property Group and Sentinel Property Group, which acquired the 16-level tower for $70 million in 2015.
