Compliance Manager


Key Responsibilities


  • Compliance monitoring and advice
  • Advising the business on compliance including AFSL, ACL, privacy & consumer law
  • Consult with internal management on policies & procedures
  • Quality assurance
  • Assessing terms of service & business compliance

Key Requirements


To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Reporting to the COO and in collaboration with our internal departments, you will have experience in conducting the following activities:
    • Acting as the compliance officer multi asset trusts;
    • Undertake compliance activities for wider Sentinel Group;
    • Run and prepare compliance documentation and registers;
    • Maintain and update policies and procedures
    • Ensure all ASIC requirements are satisfied
    • Prepare papers for approval by the COO and review by Compliance Committee;
    • Attend Compliance Committee Meetings;
    • Keep up to date on ASIC related issues, reporting them to the COO and advising the Sentinel management team accordingly;
    • Working with managed investment schemes;
    • AFSL quarterly reporting (desirable);
    • Information Memorandum development;
    • Trust Fund management and understanding;
    • Knowledge of both APRA and ASIC regulatory standards as well as corporate governance structure;
    • Ability to demonstrate a strong compliance record from previous roles and;
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications and Industry association memberships.
